I can’t help but wonder does Shane wear a dildo on the L word? I mean, the show was so dang controversial with all the same sex relationships going on! Of course, I can imagine why one would be curious if Shane was actually wearing anything!
Well, the truth is, the L word was never one to shy away from the risqué topics. So, yes! Shane does actually wear a dildo during an episode of the show. Now, it wasn’t just her being risqué – it was explained that she had been out of town for a long time and no longer had access to her own personal items because of the way she was living…meaning, she had to make do with what she had!
I thought it was kind of funny, actually! The way she explained why she was using the dildo was so nonchalant and matter-of-fact. It just showed that Shane didn’t really care what anyone else thought of her. She was just living her life and doing what she wanted.
Now, not everyone agrees with the idea that Shane was wearing the dildo for good reasons. Some people believe she was using it for its intended purpose and buying it as a way to bring attention to herself. But, I don’t think that’s what it was. If anything, I think she was just trying to make do with what she had and express her sexuality in a way that made her feel comfortable.
I think it’s quite courageous that Shane had the guts to wear the dildo on the show despite what anyone would think. I know a lot of people who wouldn’t have the same sort of confidence. For Penis Rings me, it was a nice reminder that you don’t have to let anyone else dictate the way you express your sexuality.
Now, of course, sex toys there are a lot of great episodes of the show – but this one definitely stands out. It showed an important message – even if it was done in the most unexpected of ways! And it still makes me chuckle to think of Shane wearing the dildo on the show.
At the end of the day, whether Shane was wearing the dildo for good reasons or bad, is up to each person who watches the show. Maybe it’s just an important part of her story, or maybe it’s a lesson that we can all learn from. Either way, I think it’s admirable that Shane was brave enough to show her true self and make her own choices.
I think it’s great that the L word highlighted these issues, and used Shane as a symbol of empowerment. It’s true that despite what anyone says, we all have the freedom to express ourselves however we see fit. And sometimes, it doesn’t come in the neatest of packages – but it doesn’t make our choices any less valid. So, I guess what I’m trying to say is that we should all take a page out of Shane’s book and just be confident with who we are!
