When I heard about the new sex toys dolls at CES 2019, I was totally shocked! When I looked closer, though, sex dolls I was even more surprised to learn how far the technology had advanced.
These state-of-the-art dolls look so much like real, breathing people that it can be hard to tell them apart. From the meticulous sculpting of the eyelashes to the amazingly detailed silicone skin, these dolls can bring some very human-like qualities right into your bedroom.
Plus, some of them even come with artificial intelligence so they can interact with you in truly life-like ways. They can listen to you, learn from you, and even respond to your touch. Some of them are even programmable so you can customize their behavior. Talk about a major upgrade from your average sex toy!
But I’m not quite sure how I feel about it all. While these dolls are highly advanced and could revolutionize the sex toy industry, I’m worried about what kind of message it sends. It’s almost like we’re trying to replace a human connection with a robotic one; like we’re willing to settle for the next best thing.
It certainly raises a lot of ethical questions. But that hasn’t stopped people from shelling out a lot of money to own them, with some of the priciest models costing more than a car.
I’m all for progress, and I understand how these dolls can be very helpful in the right situation. But I’m just not sure how I feel about them yet.
