I remember when the Springhill Sex Doll case first came to light. I was shocked and appalled that such an industry had been allowed to exist in our neighbourhood. Everyone was talking about it, sharing their horror stories and views on the matter. It was beyond comprehension that something like this had been allowed to go on for so long without anyone realizing it.

I felt awful for the victims of this crime; it must have been traumatic for them to have their lives so violated in that way. Victims of sexual assault don’t always get the justice they need, and this was a vivid example of that.
Things finally made a turn one day when one brave victim decided enough was enough and took it upon himself to take the law into his own hands. He filed a complaint with the police and thankfully, the authorities took notice.
Soon, scores of men were being arrested and taken into custody, and it was discovered that the industry had been running for years with total impunity. But thankfully, these people were finally getting their just desserts.
The police were relentless in their pursuit of the perpetrators and soon, the whole of Springhill was safe again. The streets were bustling with people again, all relieved that something had been done to put an end to the horrific trade that had been allowed to exist here for so long.
We had all become complacent and sex dolls forgotten that there is still evil in the world. This case reminded us all that no one should ever take safety for granted, which is a lesson I will never forget.
